Community Action Agency
Call Deborah Grubbs, retired Senior Volunteer Program director, at 931-648-5774 ext. 103 if you want to volunteer your time for specific purposes. She is compiling a list of what services people can offer and what victims might need.

United Way
Clothing and food donations are being channeled through the United Way office at 1300 Madison Street. Non-perishable food items are needed. Monday-Friday 8:30 - 4:00 931-647-4219

Red Cross
Adult Red Cross volunteers are needed. People interested must be in good health, willing to complete four hours of Red Cross volunteer training and complete a background check paid for by Red Cross. Those interested in becoming a volunteer can go between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to the temporary Red Cross shelter at Hilldale Baptist Church, 2001 Madison Street. Monetary donations should be sent by mail to the local chapter of the American Red Cross, 585 S. Riverside Drive, Suite L, Clarksville, TN 37040. Those wanting their donations to stay local need to memo 'local' or 'Clarksville' on the check.

Clarksville Area Ministerial Association - Flood Victim's Relief
Collection and distribution hours are: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturdays at Faith Outreach Church, 731 Windermere Drive. Donations of non-perishable foods, laundered clothes, shoes, blankets and bottled water are needed. Call 931-358-3010.

Clarksville Association of Realtors
Furniture collection drive to assist people affected by the flooding. Exit Realty Clarksville has volunteered to be a collection point. If you have gently used furniture, mattresses and sheet sets please drop them off at their office 1289 Northfield Drive. Contact Tracy Duffy at 931-338-2734.

Grace Community Church
The church is collecting names of people willing to volunteer in upcoming relief efforts. www.gcomchurch.com

Community Foundation of Middle TN
The Community Foundation has activated its Tennessee Emergency Response Fund in response to flooding beyond the Davidson County area. Grants from this fund will be made to non-profits supporting relief and restoration in areas of Middle Tennessee affected by the floods. Hands On Clarksville
Hands On Clarksville is collecting volunteer needs on its website. They are connecting community organizations and those working to provide flood recovery assistance to access volunteer support. Go to www.handsonclarksville.org for more information.
